Harder received a PhD in Chemistrychemistry, and works at the Institute for Physical Chemistry, Department of Chemistry and Physics, [[University of Kiel]], [[Kiel, Germany]].

This fact has sometimes made composers and musicians a bit nervous, suspicious of the program behind his programs.
