| I'm apprehensive about this Captain Schmidt. They were able to fight back against the inquisitors, but they won't be liked by people who still believe in scriptures and would like to reconcile its teachings with science. Schmidt's voice is familiar and just as I suspected, his VA is the same as that of Veltol from Maou 2099. |

| 25 years holy molly that's a huge time skip, i like how it's going back and forth thought, new opening visual is lovely even if we still didn't see the main character post time skip, no signs of Jolenta i wonder if she will still be a part of this story only downside new ending is pretty weak compared to the first one which was great |

| Try to be predictable challenge -> Failed successfuly When is this anime going to be able to complete this challenge? For real, after the last episode, we all thought we were going to see Grabowski or Jolenta continue Rafal, Oczy and Badeni's research, but no, the anime decides to jump 25 years to the future, the biggest time skip so far. There were a lot of stuff going on in this episode, with a lot of new characters that I can't particularly name right now, and I feel like we'll understand more in the next episode. But there were some things that are important to point. The first is how does Schmitt know Badeni and Oczy's names? It must be from their leader, that's for sure, a character that they haven't showed us yet. Also, the backstory of that kid that was shown, besides being brutal, we really didn't get to know who he is right now, is he Schmitt? Or is he another character we are going to get introduced? Maybe the leader? Since it was the leader that sent them to that town, where the kid was originally from. Is the book they were reading Oczy's book, or is it a reproduction of that book, that Grabowski was able to make with the "book" that Badeni left him? It's clear that after 25 years, the wave against the clerg is getting stronger and stronger, and now there is even a faction working on liberating herectics. The story isn't really clear on what it's going to follow right now, but the truth is that we're reacing the end of the anime, so this might be the last generation we get before the end. The opening song is the same, but the animation is really different, and shows a lot of symbolism of what happened already in the anime, but it seems that is also spoiling what's going to happen. Especially considering the character that appears in the beginning wasn't even introduced yet. We have to love Orb for always being ambiguous about its main character. However, the ending is completely different, we got a new song from Yorushika! The ending is about the characters from the past 15 episodes, and it's a quite wholesome ending honestly. I'm surprised they changed the ending though, I thought they would continue with the first one, changing the characters that would be appearing (when they show the characters' legs, walking). Really curious to see what's going to happen next! What happened to Jolenta? What happened to Nowak? So now Antoni is the bishop? Who is that man they captured? Edit: Also, we finally got to see the "knights" from the 1st version of the opening! |

| After 25 years, we have a new main character again. It seems that Nowak is dead, if that's true does that mean he died without knowing Jolenta was alive? That must have really hurt him. The OP has new visuals, some characters are no longer there but I like how Rafal is consistently there. He's really the best at this point. In fact, he's also the first and main influence so he should always be included. I think our new main character was a bit dramatic, but I'm quite curious about that one person who had a tragic childhood. They also mentioned Oczy and Badeni... I hope it has something to do with Jolenta. The ED is new but still by Yorushika! Beautiful and never disappoints. ♡ |

| The 25 year skip seems to be more a look into the future since they were showing 25 years previous as well which suggests it may continue these dual story telling so everything that was happening before is likely not going to be fully glossed over. I had to look it up for clarity but Naturalists are kind of vague as there is disagreement on what counts as a naturalist but they basically revere nature as divinity and do not really believe in the supernatural. God is more metaphorical in many cases. So they are somewhat similar to Deists but more spiritual. I don't understand why that one guy killed his brother. I kind of get it something to do with opposing the religious order but the followers would be harder to go after than the leaders due to being more numerous. |

| The 4th generation 25 years later with yet another heretic of Schmidt continuing the legacy of Oczy and Badeni, it really looks like he's going to change the world and topple the Church's orthodoxy ideals for real, for he's a naturalist who believes in everything of God's creation and not those made from man. The OP visuals got a nice update to reflect this change as well. Clearly, while Schmidt may be outnumbered by the inquisitors on site, his demands are quite ludicrious, not to mention the people around him being part of the Liberation Front to secure freedom out from the Church and disbelieve all religion and their gods, and the wannabes who want to be part of the group who want in but can't disvow their religion, they'll end up fighting at some point sooner or later. And this mission being the most important for the Liberation Front, where it all sparked 25 years before in his home village where Schmidt where once stood with his family, and people burning crosses to show their disapproval against the Church's orthodoxy and the "lavish lifestyle" they have, thereby escaping unscathed as a young boy from his parents shleiding him. And Schmidf, Frei and Lebowanski going back to Badeni's village to see Badeni's book for themselves, while countering the Church's minions at the same time to make their escape. Yorushika's 2nd ED is just as beautiful, if not decent. Time to move the Earth again with a successor who can actually move this time. |

| I'm so happy they kept the same opening song. Started to vibe to it and love it so much. Something with the singer's voice catches perfectly how this series feels. And i like how they always feature the new main character. Did i say i love it so much? I love it so much. I really do. |

| Alright the longest time skip so far with the 25 year skips. Time to move onto the resistance period where people form a party against the church authority. There goes the mustache captain and his bombing squad. He's naturalist. Then the new mc actually a female? Now i am getting a big mistake considering those kid into a boy with the tomboy appearance, and its really swapping the gender but not with Jolenta as the main figure, its actually coming from those money-otiented nomad girl.... Let's see if she can move the earth more with the sale. |

Now they have organizations to liberate the detained ones 🤔 although I suppose they're a theological terrorist with their goals. The agnostic "naturalist", truly. Dude doesn't even shake in his personal belief. Way to get uno reversed on inquisitor. Dude thought he could corner them, but the East saved them. Liberation Front really is bold in its motives, gotta give it that much. But it seems that the Chirch won't let them slip too easily 👀 guess that's a point for the Church. | We got new MC's and the last person, I think he's Nowak but I can be wrong... only one way to find out and that's by watching next, lol. I'm still curious of Jolenta faith, what happened to her in the last 25 years. Of course she didn't end up in hiding did she, at least not for 25 years. Maybe they show us soon. And one more, if she really had been hiding for this long or even shorter, it's possible that Nowak hadn't seen her again, it would be sad if its true. Schmitt looks a promising character with the will to shake the entire world by bring up the truth forward. |
