Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!

This very short series follows a girl who has a hard time declining requests from others.

This anime is quite underrated due to the fact that is only 2 minutes per episode, and people look at the ecchi and deem it an anime not to be watched. However, this is a highly enjoyable show that can be finished in a mere 30 minutes with a smile on your face.

Story: The story follows a group of 3 friends through their middle school life, while the main character is always helping others since she is too nice to deny anyone. Since the story is only 2 minutes ... long, there's not too much great plot that you can have in that short amount of time, especially since when 20 seconds are dedicated to the credits. However, it does have some story, and I would like to compare the show to Aesop's fables. There is a clear and present theme throughout the show, about the joys of friendship and helping others. The plot is not to be underestimated. 6/10.

Art: The art is decent, it's not top of the line like Gakuen Toshi Asterik for this 2015 season, but it holds well for a 2 minute show budget. 5/10

Sound: I'm not one to normally pay attention to sounds, unless a certain voice actor/actress particular bothers me, but I had no complaints when it came to this show. 7/10

Characters: Each character is slightly unique in their own way, with a few similarities along the way. Obviously there isn't any character development, not really possible in a span of 2 minutes. 7/10

Enjoyment: Initially, I was watching this show cause it looked like it would have some ecchi in it, and I was disappointed that the show wasn't longer. However, I loved the simple theme and how well the characters went with each other, each with a different personality, with your normal girl, then kuudere and slightly tsundere, and wanna be relied on boy. 10/10

I personally really enjoyed this show and I was quite disappointed that it wasn't longer. 9/10 Overall.

From the Creator of Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken or I Can't Understand What My Husband Is Saying comes Komori-san wa Kotowarenai!

We go from a three minute run time to a two minute run time per episode. Although this change only removes twelve minutes of run time from the season it somehow meant we also lost of all of the character development and growth My Husband had and instead replaced it with repetitive jokes and the sexualization of underage girls.

Story: We have the main character Komori who is always willing to help. Although we don't see any problems from her ... always helping people; this is okay as this is a short series and tries to display the positives of helping people rather than the negatives which again works with this coming off as a comedy.

The story follows Komori as she encounters the daily troubles of school life with her two friends Megumi and Masako.

Thus as a comedy and short series this will result in weaker underdeveloped characters although this may come as a bad thing it makes way for more jokes, but characters should still relevant and understood.

Characters: We have a cast of four characters Komori, Megumi, Masako, and Kurou who gets introduced later.

Megumi: Is a self-conscious girl with regards to her bust size that is somewhat anti-social, but has Komori as a dependable friend to rely upon.

Masako: Comes off as virtually a carbon copy of Megumi as displaying many of the same character traits. She serves to give the story a third female character to make jokes with and serves to make the relationship between Komori and Kurou less awkward had she not existed. As this would have made Megumi seem like a third wheel and mostly would have turned into a background character as the series progressed. She also serves to help keep the comedy on point and try to eliminate the third wheel feeling Megumi would have been experiencing.

Although this character comes off as very shallow after some thought we can see why this character is in the story and what purpose she does to keep the plot moving forward. Although I will not take away points as she serves a purpose I as well can't award points for the redundancy she adds to many scenes.

Kurou: is a young boy who is interested in Komori and is again another anti-social person. He is the most developed character in this series despite not being introduced till midway in the series. Through talking with Komori he is able to become more social by interacting with his classmates and helping them out as well.

Kurou helps symbolize the importance of helping people and how by doing so you are able to connect with people and thus become more social and thus get more out of school and life in general. This is the theme of the show and was interesting how a secondary character was able to display which was rather interesting.

Animation/Sound: I lumped these together as there is little to talk about them in such a short series. Cinematography wise nothing done in this regard. The animation style was very relaxed and simple which is common in short series and some comedy although we see less and less of this now.

The 30 second ending was really unfortunate for this series as it ate up 1/4 of the run time of each episode and thus came off as a way to save on the budget as well many of the scenes featured little to no movement.

The sound was well below average as the soundtrack did not exist for many scenes and was nearly absent in the many that it did take place in.

As sound is far less important in comedy as it does not have to set-up powerful dramatic scenes it is thus weighted far less into the total score to help compensate for its decreased importance in this show and genre.

Enjoyment: I unfortunately did not enjoy one episode I saw of this show. The main reason I first picked up this show was the original creator. The episodes felt flat with repetitive jokes seen in many series such as bust jokes. We also see jokes this short series made repeated in later episodes. Coupled with the continued sexualization of underage girls with jokes, questionable camera angles and swimsuits I found it hard to watch let alone enjoy this series.

Anime shorts are...kind of pointless at this point, and at this point, I swear they're getting shorter and shorter with each passing season. By the time you read this review, you might be able to see the entire run of Komori-san wa Kotowarenani, so it's really your choice on what you prefer to spent your time doing.

Story: Shuri is a girl who can't decline any request she's given to her. Follow her adventures as she doesn't decline any task she's given and goes about her daily life doing what she does best; helping people.

That's it. That's literally all it has ... to offer. With each episode following one page of the 4-koma manga, there's really not much to say about Komori-san because it's just a setup, a build-up, a punchline, and the conclusion.

Characters: There's Shuri, who can't decline any request. Her friends whose names escape me, and Ootani, a boy who wants to be relied on like Shuri is. They're static, plain, and not really interesting.

Art: The art is pretty standard and isn't really anything worth mentioning. Though, I will complain the fact that Shuri is just scarily disproportionate to other otherwise tiny midget friends. Like seriously, girl's tall and has some spindly limbs and watermelons on her chest while her friends are tiny midgets who get engulfed by her shadow.

Sound: There's only one track, the ending track. It's nice, but not really anything worth mentioning.

Personal Enjoyment: In the end, this was pretty much a timekiller. There's nothing too great about this show, just the fact that you'll end up using up 15 minutes of your life watching it. It's cute, I guess, but not really stellar in any way.

Komori-san wa kotowarenai is a slice of life comedy originally written in 2012 by Cool-kyou Shinja. In 2015, three years after the manga began, it was adapted into an anime. The studio behind it was Artland, the same studio behind Mushishi, Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino & the horrendous Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. Still, two out of three worthwhile anime isn't a bad precedent. I'm not sure what to expect going into this one, so let's take a look and see how it goes.

Story:

Komori is a fourteen year old girl who can't bring herself to turn down requests for help. As a result, her classmates are ... constantly relying on her. This, naturally, results in slice of life shenanigans. The biggest flaw with the series is just that the japes are pretty standard and predictable. You might laugh at points, but it's probably not going to be hearty laughter. More, a bit of a chuckle. This series may actually benefit from each episode lasting two minutes, simply because they have to fir out the jokes quickly and you don't get a lot of set up for the obvious pay-offs.

Characters:


The characters don't have much to them. Although, in all fairness, you can't really expect deep and compelling characters in a series where the entire twelve episodes take up roughly the same amount of time as one episode of a normal length series. With that said, there are times where Komori's interactions with her friends, Masako & Megumi, work well for comedic purposes and there are times where they don't really garner a reaction. Then we have Kurou, a character who is consistently dull. Any time he shows up, you can safely tune out and not risk missing a funny moment.

Art:

The art in this is pretty simple but it's functional and there's really nothing wrong with it. Even if it does use that hyper moe style I'm not personally fond of.

Sound:

The acting is perfectly competent. It's not stellar and Uchida Aya certainly doesn't get to fully showcase her talents, but it sounds just fine. I'd say the same for the other actors, but I haven't really heard them in anything else. Well, Ozawa Ari had a minor role in One Punch Man, but I don't remember her character at all. The music likewise is competent but nothing special.

Ho-yay:

There are times when Komori's friend, Masako, seems to have a crush on her. But it's difficult to say if that was intentional given the length of the series.

Final Thoughts:

Ultimately, Komori-san wa kotowarenai isn't a bad series. But it's also not a good one. It's a short, standard slice of life comedy. If you're a big fan of the genre, you might want to give it a go. The whole series is only twenty four minutes so it is pretty quick. Otherwise, you won't really miss anything by skipping it. My final rating is a 5/10. The series is average. Next week I'll look at Brain Powerd.

Recently, I was asked to visit a friend’s house to help setup some technology in his home. I accepted. Not because he offered me a going rate of ten dollars per hour (which was kind of him but unnecessary), but because he is a good friend of mine that I want to help.

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! (or, in English, Komori-san Can’t Decline!) features, coincidentally enough, a girl named Komori. She never refuses to help others, providing a simple anime in the process.

STORY

Komori-san Can’t Decline! is an extremely short anime. At two – two – minutes per ... episode, the anime can literally be started, watched, and completed in less than thirty minutes. As such, not a whole lot can be said.

Each episode follows Komori helping out anyone and everyone that asks for help from her. Carrying boxes, giving directions, and taking pictures are just a handful of the ways in which Komori helps out her fellow friends.

Much of the comedy in the anime relies on Komori and her incessant need to help. For example, her drinking everyone’s milk cartridges leads into a discussion on her massive breasts. Her large height makes her friends use her for shade during a hot day. Her helpful nature has her considering becoming a detective. This comedy is rather quick, fitting the even quicker anime.

Along the way, the anime comes to explore the idea of helping others. Why people help. Whether or not it is wrong to help others despite potentially making the situation worse. What helping others results in. Relative to the anime (especially considering its overall length), it explores this theme of helping as well as it can.

Some episodes even focus on themes like friends and romance. The motif of helping still exists within these episodes – Komori, Megumi, Masako, and Ootani help each other and others. And, since helping naturally leads into friendship and romantic developments, such themes are natural, too.

Technically the anime does not explore these last two themes as much as it does the helping theme, so they are not as important. And, arguably, these last two themes distract from the helping theme, too. Still, having them around strengthens the theme on helping and, collectively, they all help to balance out the comedy that Komori-san Can’t Decline! usually leans on.

ANIMATION

When it comes to the actual animation, Komori-san Can’t Decline! does not have a whole lot of it. But the anime almost always makes sure to keep two parts moving: Komori’s breasts.

They are big and technically one of the defining features of her character. So the anime animates them accordingly. Not just in moving around or pressing her chest against some boxes. Something as simple as lifting her umbrella or her fist, which happens to hit the underside of her boob, causes her breasts to jostle (slightly-over) appropriately.

Komori’s chest naturally leads into her and the other character designs. While her boobs are focused on the most, she has other defining features: Her height, her striped, thigh-high socks, and, most strikingly, her multicolored eyes. Each feature makes her stick out even further, resulting in people singling her out for help.

As for the other designs, Ootani’s design is rather plain, but this plainness fits his character since he does not stick out and therefore does not get called on for help. Komori’s friends, Megumi and Masako, try to be slightly different. Megumi’s blonde, twin-tailed, eye-covering hair with light-blue eyes and Masako’s dark-green hair, all-black eyes, and floor-touching skirt make Komori’s best friends distinct without being obtuse.

For all three (and for most of the background characters), they appear to be shorter than normal, accentuating Komori’s height even further. Also, a positive shout-out goes to Megumi’s father. The anime presumably did not want to create a design for him, so they only showed his hand and arm waving from outside of Megumi’s room. A silly and welcome inclusion. Also (also), a negative shout-out to the scrolling text that did little else besides be distracting when it occurred in nearly every episode. An unnecessary and unwelcome inclusion.

The rest of the art is soft and simple. Made so by the white coating and shininess of the characters as well as the white coating of the backgrounds. The anime sticks mostly to the school grounds, but it occasionally has the cast at other locations such as the beach, a festival, or at their respective homes. The backgrounds are boring, but, regardless of what is shown, the simplicity and softness fit the gentle anime well enough.

CHARACTERS

While the characters of Komori-san Can’t Decline! do not see any development in the short time that they are on-screen, what they represent definitely follows the direction of the anime.

Komori’s view on the world is one that everyone should adopt: She likes to help others. Plain and simple. She helps people not just to make herself feel happy but also to make others happy. She is as selfless as someone can be. As she says, “When people depend on you, it means they trust you. That makes me happy. And that’s why I can’t decline anyone today, either. I won’t decline!”

Ootani is helpful as well, but, as he says, he does it to make himself “feel better.” He is not tall like Komori. He is not popular like Komori. He is not relied upon like Komori. Altogether, he does not get the same opportunities as her, so he seeks them out. But because he is so helpful, he understands Komori. And, since they are both similar and opposite, the hinted-at romantic relationship between them makes even more sense.

As for Megumi and Masako, they do not necessarily have as much focus throughout the season. Instead, they are mostly there for comedic and supporting purposes. Them teasing Komori about looking at Ootani while he swims or them visiting Komori when she gets sick prove that they play their minor roles as well as they can.

Looking at them collectively, they advocate the same message that the narrative gets at: be helpful. To each other, to others. While one does not have to go to Komori’s extreme of never declining anyone for aid, helping people, as Komori puts it, allows one “to spend time with people.” It does not matter if it is getting a friend away from a situation they do not want to be in or helping someone cut some grass. Helping others deepens relationships, improving them beyond what they already happen to be.

SOUND

The opening theme is, like the anime, quite short. An acoustic guitar, chimes, and drums, alongside some nice singing and lyric-and-instrument synchronization near the end, make for a happy little OP.

Besides the OP, squeaky toys, water droplets, and shining stars are used as sound-effects to make the different gags and transitions more fun than they would be otherwise.

Komori-san Can’t Decline!’s other musical offerings (the anime does not have an ending theme) are comprised of very simple tracks to fit the very simple show. Music box sounds, low, heavy drums, and barely-any-notes piano pieces make up the majority of the anime’s OST. The tracks are certainly not worthwhile, but their simplicity, like the art, further the anime’s simplicity motif.

And the voice acting performances are similarly simple. Aya Uchida as Shuri uses a mature, kind voice to match the equally mature and kind girl. Maria Naganawa as Masako sounds breathy, Ari Ozawa as Megumi sounds hyper. And Reina Takeshita as Ootani gives the boy a fitting voice despite being female herself.

ENJOYMENT

To reiterate, this anime is incredibly short. In fact, I may have listed nearly half of the events that occur. Because the anime is so short and simple, it does not offer a whole lot, but it also does not take a whole lot to sit down and watch it to completion.

The anime, regardless of its length and simplicity, does have spurts of funny, cute, and romantic moments that are entertaining. Komori getting all excited when someone asks her for help after not being asked for a while. Megumi hugging onto Komori tightly after everyone seems to be “taking” Komori away from her. And Ootani carrying Komori on his back following her getting lost and breaking her sandal. Short moments, but some combination of funny, cute, and romantic nonetheless.

(Also, after writing out these three examples, I have probably now listed half of the events that occur in the anime.)

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! is a short anime. In its short run, it has a comedic story, a cast of helpful characters, and simple art and music. Nothing impressive, nothing forgettable. Just a short and simple show. If nothing else, it makes helping others – not for ten dollars an hour but out of the kindness of one’s heart – that much more enticing.

SUMMARY

Story: Good, comedy and helping make for a fun and purposeful narrative

Animation: Fine, low actual animation besides Komori’s breasts, soft art, and nice character designs

Characters: Fine, while the cast does not develop, they prove that helping others deepens relationships

Sound: Fine, okay OP, okay OST, okay VA performances

Enjoyment: Fine, not that worthwhile, but entertaining moments here and there

Final Score: 5/10

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai is a very short anime. So short in fact, that the total episode time from the 12 episodes is still less than your average 24-minute show. It's 2 minutes per episode, and with the 30 second theme song, there is very little airing time indeed.

And if you look at the tags, you'll notice that "ecchi" isn't on there. That's because that's not what this show is all about, so don't come expecting that.

The characters aren't terrible. There's Komori, a girl with humongous cow tits who can't turn down anyone's request. The others, I can't really describe having seen them for just ... 20 minutes. They're nothing special, and obviously don't change in any way throughout this very short anime. It's all about admiring, envying or relying on Komori.

Everything is set up for this to be a pretty terrible show, but the reason I didn't give it a too low score is because of the lack of ecchi fanservice in the show. I thought from the beggining that they would play on Komori's ample breast to make a predictable, generic "I just happened to slip over --> pantsu!" kind of anime. But they didn't. It was all about Komori's "needing to help everyone" or "lack of willpower to say no" personality rather than "look --> boobs". I praise the show for that, but it was far too short and kind of pointless. I probably would have dropped it if I watched it while it was airing, but I watched it all in one go (which I recommend if you want to go for it).

I wouldn't recommend this anime, but I also wouldn't say that you shouldn't watch it. And besides, it'll hardly waste much of your time being as short as it is.

I'm a pretty generous reviewer, giving this anime 4/10. Though, I might add, as a 2 minute episode show, it was almost impossible for it to be "good".

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! is quite the simple anime short, right down to the title. Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! or Komori-san Can't Decline.

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! is about a group of friends (and one guy with the some relatablity to Komori) with Shuri Komori voiced by Aya Uchida being the sole focus of this anime short.

There are two comedy skits to this anime short. Komori's inability to say no to a request and going through with it like Yes Man (but thing is Komori's personality LIKES doing requests, so not quite like Yes Man but close enough) and the other comedy skit is that Komori has a ... big chest.....yeah fanservice is here to.

Even though this is an anime short, the characters unfortunately are pretty bland with some stereotypical personalities, as such Komori's friends are the "genki one" a la Megumi Nishitori voiced by Ari Ozawa and the "smart one" a la Masako Negishi voiced by Maria Naganawa and..."love interest" a la Kurou Ootani voiced by Reina Takeshita and although these characters are little more than satellite characters to Komori, Komori herself is a running gag character with the two comedic skits on the above making that her character and all.

LA thinks what's worse is that the episode length is 2 minutes it has and actually even less due to the OP and ED taking up almost half the running time and you know where LA is going with this, LA will kinda blame the running time to how bland these characters are.

In terms of animation, done by Artand, the animation was "meh" overall, somewhat ok character designs to just ok backgrounding...overall, the animation for this anime short isn't anything to gush over.

Overall, Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! is an anime short with two running gags turning the gears of this anime short and that can either make this anime short predictable or boring, nonetheless either though LA said that the episode length was a big problem in this anime short, it also helps as it makes the anime harmless and quite easy and quickly to watch this anime, thus Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! is just an "ok" anime short coming from Fall of 2015.

Now, I like short anime, a lot actually. But the bad thing about short anime is that they can either be extremely enjoyable (strange +, 'Danna ga Nani wo Itteiru ka Wakaranai Ken', etc) or extremely disastrous (pupa, etc)

Somehow, this anime is none, it is just bland, plain old nothing bland. There is nothing that can make it worthy of being called a good anime and nothing to make it a bad one. How can I review an anime that has nothing, just nothing?

The anime has 12 two minute long episodes and each episode has an almost 30 second opening/ending or whatever. So basically you ... have roughly 18 minute of actual content. The anime revolves around a middle school girl Komori who is a nice girl, so nice in fact that she cannot refuse a favour. She has two other friends, Megumi Nishitori and Masako Negishi, both of whom are little kindergarten looking girls. These bunch of characters are later joined by a short boy called Otani, who is basically like Komori's rival kind of thing and wants to help everyone.

Each episode can be summarized as:-
Some kind of dialogue between the main characters or something, Title screen with the main characters yelling "Komori San Wa Kotowarenai!", a person asking Komori for help, then many people asking Komori for help then later her friends complaining about how she helps everyone. Some arbitrary dialogue, weird encounters with Otani at times, and the opening/ending or whatever.

Basically if you just want to watch anime for the sake of it or just to get some of them anime experience points, watch this anime, it's only 18 minutes long.

What can you possibly say about such a short anime?

Considering each episode was only 2 minutes long, you barely had time to get a good grasp on each character. They were all mediocre, including their relationship with one another, though I did appreciate the unusual ship that occurred mid-season.

The art, music, and story are nothing to write home about either. The voice acting was alright, but the music wasn't catchy or memorable. It's possible that better art could've made this anime better, but unfortunately, it was pretty plain and unimpressive.

I wouldn't really recommend this anime unless you're just into well-endowed characters and/or have a ... short attention span.

Story:
Honestly, despite the time constraints, despite the grotesque and painful character design of the protagonist, I feel as though there could have been a genuinely interesting and engaging plotline in Komori-san wa Kotowarenai! However, instead of doing what some short animations do where they split one premise across the episodes making one 20-minute story, we get really quick and really short stories that don't change in premise, punchline, or engagement. In fact, it's all pretty crap. Any semblance of storytelling vanishes near instantly when characters meet and a punch-line is thrown in the way, or when the show ends. There's nothing to really go on ... in the 2 minutes that each episode has and it's highly forgettable.


Art:
Man, the character design for the protagonist is disgusting. I'm talking vomit-tier. Having large breasts doesn't disgust me, having poor, painfully bad depictions of breasts paired with the ridiculous 'anime physics' that breasts take on makes for one of the worst lead characters I've ever seen in my life. Hanoka is better than this.

Everything else is pretty bad, too. The animation itself isn't all that fluid, the backgrounds are boring and forgettable (like most school related anime), and despite the two friends being kinda cool looking, all other side-characters had forgettable designs and poor animation despite the show being 2 minutes long. I've seen a lot of short shows and most of them have, at the least, good animation. But, maaaan, not this one.


Sound:
Can't really remember a single song but that's alright. None of the songs were invasive or bad.

Can't really remember the quality of VA work because, for the most part, anime has pretty good VA work. It's safe to say that I simply did not notice anything bad about the Sound Quality of the show, and therefore it's a 5/10


Character:
I don't really haveta go over character designs again but in regards to their development, all empty. I did enjoy how the lead mentions the joy of helping others, while another character wanted nothing more than to be sought for help because he wanted to also find the joy in helping others, but this wasn't worked with very much, likely due to the 2-minute timeline. So, again, a failure here as well.


Enjoyment:
I added to my Completed list and nothing more. At the very least, I'll always remember this for having one of the most disgusting protagonist designs of all time.

I think this anime was made too short. Each episode is roughly about 2 minutes long. Having read the manga, it could go on for much longer, kind of like what was done with Lucky Star, having a large conglomeration of short stories per episode instead of having about 3-5 each.

I love the characters and the character designs, so having longer episodes would really help build up the characters. In the manga, even though each story is short, eventually they start to intertwine into a larger story and eventually starts to get even more fleshed out, so it doesn't really work with this format of ... having 2 minute episodes.

Komori-san wa Kotowarenai is a very short anime about a girl who cant say no to helping people. This is not a show where you would look for things like character development or sad stories about others taking advantage of her. It is just a normal Slice of life anime that at times can be very funny, and other times can be just relaxing. It is very adorable and a great anime for taking breaks between all the ecchi/action shows. The only thing that I didn't like from it would be the fact that the main character, Komori, has gigantic tits. ... That was the only thing that i would say is unfavorable about it.

First of all, this show is a short-form anime. This means that I'm reviewing a show with 2-minute episodes. That being said, for a show that only lasts for 120 seconds per episode, I found myself actually really loving the characters in the show. What's more, the interactions between the characters definitely got a chuckle and even an audible laugh out of me while watching. Although the show is mainly slice of life and comedy, some samples of light romance are seen budding in the show at some point. The opening, or maybe it's the ending, is catchy; which is about the only type of ... "sound" I can think to rate.

In short, the show is a great time-killer if you want a couple chuckles; and you find yourself rooting for the main character as the show "progresses".

Komori-san wa kotowarenai is the kind of manga you read with no spectations and leaves you satisfied. The story is pretty simple yet complete. there's kind of a romance and everything you want in a slice of life hischool manga, there is no a lot of content, so, a whole sason with a full 24 min of content, will lead to the infamous original story path.

if you're a manga reader and already follow the story, it will be nice to hear how the voices of the cast sound, but if you like to wach an full 12 ep anime, you're gonna be disapointed with ... the lack of content.

I just recomend to enjoy the anime and read the manga, is a pretty funny one an have a wholesome story.

The anime is about a girl who likes to help others.

Despite the short duration, each episode is nice to watch and there is a little story and reflexion in them.


I've really like the main character, Komomi-san, as she's really kind and glad to help other, and that's what makes her happy.

It's good to see some good and simple emotion as this one.

If you want to watch a simple but full of good intentions anime for half an hour, pick this one !

This review will be very short!
The setting for this anime takes place in high school so nothing new there and follows the life of high-school girl Komori who has a big heart (and a big chest) as she can never say no to any request given to her. The series then follows her life completing requests and talking with her friends over the course 2 minute episodes, honestly there not much to say, the show is relaxing and is a good wined down from serious shows but aside from that there is not much else to watch it for, as it has no proper plot ... or ending, although a small romance sub-plot occurs later on, it doesn't go anywhere.

Though the show does have some good points as the characters are very likeable with good designs and nice personalities that don't feel cliché in any way, which could also be thanks to a cute art style and character interaction which can be quite funny at times that relaxes you which the Ending song and animation help to achieve as well. Though the rest of soundtrack is unnoticeable and doesn't stick out in anyway.

In conclusion watch this if you want something light that you can finish in 20 minutes, but if you want anything more don't bother with this one.

Woah, that's a bunch of tasks! Who'd ever do all of those if asked to do so? Well, a middle-schooler known as Komori-san, that's who! If you thought doing chores around the house for your middle-class parents was hard enough, Komori-san literally cannot deny ANYTHING she's asked!

Komori-San Can't Decline, or Komori-San wa Kotowaranai, is about your typical middle schooler who has a knack to do anything that people ask her to do, Komori. As explained later in the anime, this is because Komori has a HUUUUGE ... trust complex where every one needs to trust her in order for her to survive. Speaking of huge...

Seriously though, she's in middle school? I don't usually like big breasts, but daaaaaaaaang!

Btw, don't deny that you watched this anime in the first place to see if you could see some inappropriate ecchi action. Don't lie, I'm there with you... Wait, you DIDNT watch because of unpure fantasies?

Komori-San Can't Decline is a short series comprised of 12 episodes with each being about 2 minutes long. You could literally finish this anime within an hour, which is why I'm linking you guys to each episode at the bottom of this review! Be grateful, you little skank niblets!

But literally, the show is about a girl doing stuff for people... Or is it?

ANIMATION/ARTWORK

Who animated this show? Artland? Well, Artland seriously knows where to put there artwork and animation into. Two things:
Boobs
And
Eyes
Idk why, but when the eyes of the characters as well as their whole designs are so beautifully colored, It sort of draws the viewer in, which results with not noticing the other animation in the background and scenery, but honestly, who can blame them?

What Artland does in Komori-San is make the character designs very colorful, vibrant, and add a finishing fade effect with certain colors on each characters. Additionally, they blur most of the background so your main focus is on its characters. Don't act like I'm stupid, Artland. I know what you're doing. I ought to ask Komori-San to (politely) beat you to a pulp.

SOUNDTRACK

With Komori-San only being 2 minutes long per episode, they don't exactly have the time to include a minute long opening. Instead, they have an ending theme that plays at the end of each episode, indicating the beginning of the timer of insanity until the episode next week.

In the ending theme, there's not much to identify in the thirty seconds it's on the screen. It begins with an acoustic guitar followed with a twinkling noise to exert a bright and happy feeling. The next part is interesting: a whole assortment of instruments, from violins to drums, play chords that all seem out of harmony, but sound great as a whole. It's only for 3 notes that the instruments seem to have some kind of harmony and alignment before the finale of the song where waifu-san and her two friends are seen with a box holding a kitten. Where do they take this kitten? Nobody knows, maybe to a kitten concentration camp. F**king furries...

PERSONAL ENJOYMENT

Honestly, this and OPM were the reasons why I looked forward to each and every Sunday. The bright and fuzzy feelings emitted from this series seemed to rejuvenate me each week. If I were to say one aspect of the show was my favorite, it'd have to be how beautiful Komori's and we blonde-haired friends' eyes were drawn. Put simply, they captivated me. Also, anyone who doesn't ship Komori and that one Shrimpy kid can ask Komori to shoot them with a gun.

OVERALL

Komori-San Can't Decline is a cute little series that I'd recommend if you're interested in viewing the possible future of how anime eyes look in later shows. It's a great show if you want to just get away from the world and smile. Komori-San certainly won't disappoint ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Okay so this my first review so I'm sorry if its bad

Now Komori-san wa Kotowarenai aka Komori-san can't decline is very short and easy to watch if you are someone who doesn't have much time to watch long anime

Story 5/10

Now don't get me wrong it's not bad at all, just it doesnt't have an arc its simply just random skits of what the title is about but again not that it's something I wouldn't watch.

The art was pretty okay, it was clear and very well animated nothing bad it. It was not impressive wow but it was pretty okay

I found the characters okay, but the reason I'm giving it a 7 is because you kinda seem some sort of character development its not all dry

It was a nice short anime to watch, especially for me who is a senior in havo (high school) to at least have something to watch when I'm on break
