| Great episode. My only criticism is that this came too quickly. If this had been a 24 episode adaptation where this episode happened at episode 22 following many adventures with the crew it would have hit with more impact. Still pretty damn good given we only met these characters three episodes ago. |

| During some arguing scene, some Netflix's danish subs literally translated David telling Maine "you did it together with Lucy" aka seggs or sum along those lines, I was so confused but guess I'll be watching this with eng subs for now |
| One of the best episodes this year so far. This was crazy and was probably one of the best directed episodes of 2022. This show has the best animation this year hands down and everything in this episode was stunning, especially with the scene between David and Maine that was epic. Sad episode but still amazing. I swear, this anime might be a contender for AOTY 100000000/5 episode prob one of the best episodes this year. |

| Had a little bit of empathy towards David in the first episode due to the overused and regurgitated setup of a bullied underdog by the upperclass (quite similar to the run of the mill setup in a lot of isekai titles with nobles and peasant heroes). But after the last and this episode the last shred of interest I had in him is gone due to his poor and stupid choices. He already knew he was siding with scum people, but was easily distracted by Tanaka's sweet words, where he should have prioritized Lucy whom just feels like a one night stand gal rather than an actual girlfriend. Maine feels like a cheap knock-off of Guld from Macross Plus, but without the charisma nor the more thorough background his own bretheren of violent zentraedis, Maine is just a junkie with a knack for cyberimplants that can compensate for his small balls. Lucy feels like a Lt Kusanagi rip-off in all her design as a deep diver but again without the flair and deeper thought about what humanity stands for. Guess Rebecca is the only character left that i can place my hope in someone to feel attached for in this show. |

| This is the episode that made me go from liking it to loving it. I was always fascinated with the whole cyber psychosis in the game and to have it animated through Maine was sad to see. |
| Did definitely not expect to see Maine and Dorio to disappear this early. Gosh what a brutal episode... It's now it ends up being one of the Dreamy Jimmie's sick dreams-thingies! And that change in artstyle towards the last part of the episode... |
