So yesterday, I saw a movie with my girlfriend and my friend who went on a double date with me and we went to the movie theatre to see the new exorcist movie, The Exorcist Believer. It was super scary and honestly had me tense the entire time. Now you know I am a huge horror fan and this was my first time ever seeing my first horror movie in a movie theatre at the age of 19 because I grew up in a very Christian strict household. Seeing movies like this was not allowed even when I turned 18. I have always had a fascination in all religions, and how all religions respond to the paranormal. One thing that all religions seem to follow is each one of them can perform an exorcism, It's not just the catholic church that performs these rituals. There is a widespread of religions all around the world that perform exorcisms. This movie really brought me back to my childhood, the one thing I loved about this movie is how multiple religions come together to help save these two girls.
The oc portraying Angela from the movie is my oc Sam, and the oc portraying Katherine is my oc Blitz, it depicts the scene of both characters looking up at the light as they are tied down to a chair facing away from eachother during the exorcism process.
This was such a good movie, I also enjoyed the original exorcist movie and this movie really paid respects to that! I encourage all to get a good scare this halloween and watch it!
