A class reunion for Gaku! Good for him. He deserves a break from his work after the big success of their latest project.

Seems like he once had eyes for a girl back in the days. Imo, it was a fun episode. Gaku's personality was kinda all over the place lol

Imagine buying a new sports car with your hard-earned money only for the dude who admitted to seeing you as a pawn at first to call shotgun for your first ever ride on it. Never change, Haru.

And man, the implication of all the little glances Rinrin was giving Gaku and the heartfelt way she comforted him right after falling out of love with his high school crush made me smile.

To indulge or to not indulge.

Sakura talks about not wanting material things until... he imports a convertible (the steering wheel is on the other side in Japan, e.g. the car which Gaku drives in the intro)

Damn that reunion was tragic.

The guy at God Promotion that once sat on Gaku's desk thinks he's a big shot knowing actors and idols but he and the other old classmate's tunes change when Gaku reveals he founded Trillion Game and developed pop pop land which they all play.

Momose knew exactly what to say to get him to go with her; mentioning the flute. But once she said it was a lie and that it broke, Gaku thought he had to get out of there. The Momose he knew, or rather the ideal version he built in his head based on her, was no more.

@Fortress_Maximus So sad this part of momose, I was afraid she would do some harm to the gaku boy
But at least I saw that Rinrin is the right girl

Ok episode I guess but boy do I hate Gaku as a main character, even more so that the show seems to put more focus on him over Haru. I really wish he would have some form of growth at all even just a little bit, he fucking sucks as a main character.

WHY GAKU, I don't hate you but be fucking serious, I was so happy to see he finally getting closer to his dream, just to fumble because the girl he used to love stopped playing the flute, WHY ARE YOU LIKE THAT

I don't know that everyone isn't happy with Gaku's behavior, the act is quite in his character, yes in general Rinrin is his waifu, as even Kirika pointed out.

I would have liked to have seen Gaku confront Momose in the bedroom scene.
To explain how his dream had died by her greed even though he also suffers from the same.

Has anyone seen the live action version of this?

This episode is the equivalent of the protagonist revealing that he had a cheating skill in isekai anime.

Gaku is seriously annoying, his communication skills are terrible even for an introvert. His speaking style really annoys me specially when he goes "ah bababa" or something like that

Gaku-centric episode with some drama.

When it was mentioned earlier that men should be careful with some women they'll be dealing with, it foreshadowed the latter part of the episode.

Gaku has always fancied this girl from high school, and I was a bit convinced that she and Rinrin are rivals for Gaku's heart. After the high school reunion, she tried to seal the deal with Gaku, but our boy refuses to close. It's frustrating while simultaneously, it's understandable. 1) Gaku has no experience, 2) you never know if in the interim, the girl has become a gold digger.

It looks like Rinrin-Gaku ship still has a chance, especially with how she showed her concern.

I wish we can see more character development for Gaku.

Why did Gaku freak out at that hotel? Because he realized Momo tried to seduce him due to his success and money (at one point she looked at him like a billion bucks...) or because their first intimate encounter took place in a much posher place than his simple fantasy with her?

It was clear that though she greeted him at the reunion she wouldn't have paid any more attention to him had he not disclosed his current job. It appeared she was gunning for the top dog of the reunion, who happened to be Gaku.

But I'm not sure if Gaku is (socially) smart enough to realize that. Though success in and on itself is sexy, and certainly not something to take offence at, it can be off-putting if success and money are the only reason you are desired.

Was Gaku disappointed because his high school crush tried to seduce him for what he had rather than for who he was?

@Maou_heika I second that. His "ah bababa" is extremely obnoxious..

That was frustrating lol, Gaku needs more self confidence seeing him acting like a 15 years old didn't feel satisfying, this is why I prefer Haru

The reason why I am annoyed by anime standard is that adult continue to acted like they are still in high school lol, I get that Gaku is "different" but it's really unrealistic to expect somenoe he knew in high school can stay the same, and then ran away because his dream girl has changed.

At least Gaku is probably the most successful person in the whole class, and he can be proud of that.

@Kai200X I don't think it's fair to say he ran away because she changed, but rather he saw how different they really were. It was made a point that the girl had a thing for the flute/instrument which is the same for Gaku with his tech.

It was only at a point when he realized she gave it up that he realized they were entirely different people in the first place, it's not really because of the change imo. Gaku was rejected multiple times but he never really gave up on his passion.

A episode with class reunion, it was really good with Gaku staying nervous the whole time and all. I'm surprised that his nervousness never goes once and will neither go in the future.

It was somewhat sad to see the girl he loved had changed so much, not just appearance but the heart as well. She way she started like gave me creeps, Gaku's a good person with kind heart, seeing him sleep with a women/girl who's only in for only would have it hard on my soul with new episodes in future. I personally think that Rinrin should be with him.

Sakura took a big U-turn after talking with Tooru, that was funny.

Man, his dream is shattered after he attends the high school reunion and meets Momose.

I hope Gaku will find a house that fits him.

With 30 mil/year, everyone should be able to afford some stuff, and Sakura getting sucked into Hebijima's word to recklessly spend his money, that's quite Sakura.

Haru bringing Gaku to revisit their first benefactor of Mitsuzono Flowers, she's certainly glad for them helping them out on their startup journey. Maeyamada the same as well on his initial investment, though Gaku dreading going to his high school reunion party, with the only girl of memory being Momose who helped him out in high school, and wanting to spend time with her.

To think that the girl he knew became a beauty, she's like the new class goddess of interest that all guys have their eyes on. Though when Gaku mentioned about Trillion Game, the perception changed favour towards him. Even more so, is Momose's tendency to reunite with him like old times, though the girl of his dreams weren't the reality that he wished to see.

With hopes of meeting his school crush dashed, only Trillion Game matters all the more now...time to move on.
