The psychology behind commenting (theory)

I came to a conclusion about people that comment on pictures. Is there a middle ground? If the art is to sexy or to provocative then people don't comment because they are to busy jerking off, but if the art is just sexy enough to provoke the thought of arousal then people will comment to see the inspiration behind it and share their ideas to gain arousal and interest. I dub this Brainfapping
Can anyone share with me their thoughts on this? I would like to know if, after jerking off to art, do you comment on it? I would also love to know of the most commented on pieces of art, and why you would comment on it personally.
